Estudo do impacto social da Igreja Católica Nossa Senhora de Fátima: caso de estudo Distrito Kamavota(1975 – 2015)

Abstract

This work has as its Theme Study of the social impact of the Catholic Church Our Lady of Fatima: case study District Kamavota (1975 - 2015). it is a contribution to the history of the country and the church itself. the work aims to bring a broad view to the population to see a good part of the church reading the word of god that the church gives us. the first entry of the Catholic Church in Mozambique, there were several transformations that took place within the Church and Mozambican society, depending on the needs and concrete challenges of each period of history. Today, the Church is struggling with a profound problem which is justice and peace as ways to promote and effectively enhance the dignity of the human being. And that the church has been a solution for solving social problems in the Mozambican community. the intervention of religion, particularly of the Catholic Church in the sphere of Mozambican society is essential, especially when it comes to conflict within the family and community. For this, a qualitative methodology was adopted, I chose this theme because of the facts that I have witnessed in my Kamavota district. This work will also describe what the church has done and is doing for the society of the Kamavota district, and in a detailed way the work will show those who were in the leadership of these effects in this period regarding the theme and will also bring here a context of how the Catholic church arrives in Mozambique and what has been its relationship with the Mozambican people and what are the challenges that the church has been facing with the Mozambican community especially in the Kamavota district and what has been the dynamics of working with the community in that district
