| Resumo: | O município da Maxixe apesar de ser caracterizado maioritariamente por actividades comerciais possui locais com potencialidades turísticas. O povoado de Mongué como parte integrante deste município configura em um exemplo dessas potencialidades turísticas cuja atractividade são os recursos naturais e histórico-culturais existentes que são capazes de motivar fluxos para a visitação, porém a prática do turismo é quase inexistente. Dado a isso e pelo facto da oferta turística ser um importante factor de desenvolvimento turístico, a presente pesquisa objectivou diagnosticar o actual panorama da oferta turística de Mongué de modo a evidenciar as suas condições e como as mesmas podem impactar no desenvolvimento do turismo local. Para tal, fez-se primeiramente uma pesquisa bibliográfica com vista a ter bases teóricas para a construção do referencial teórico e para elaboração dos instrumentos para o campo, de seguida elaborou-se os guiões de entrevistas para os intervenientes selecionados, o cálculo da amostra e a identificação das áreas locais para o estudo. Face a isso, seguiu-se a aplicação das entrevistas ao sector público, o estabelecimento turístico e a comunidade local conciliando com a técnica de observação e a posterior organizou-se os dados colectados na pesquisa bibliográfica e no campo. De seguida, procedeu-se a descrição dos dados inventariados da oferta turística de Mongué e depois a discussão. Com os resultados, verificou-se que Mongué possui recursos/atractivos com potencial para atrair fluxo turístico, mas notou-se dificuldade de acesso para as florestas sagradas e a nascente de água doce bem como degradação da igreja São José de Mongué (velha). Notou também uma fragilidade em alguns elementos da infra-estrutura básica como os sistemas de saneamento básico, energético e de transportes, a sinalização e a componente de serviços. Com isso, conclui-se que a oferta turística de Mongué necessita de uma reestruturação tendo em conta as fragilidades e potencialidades existentes e atendendo as características físico-culturais locais de modo a garantir o bem-estar tanto dos residentes quanto dos visitantes. E essa reestruturação deve aliar-se a elaboração de um plano de desenvolvimento turístico que servirá de base para direcionar esforços a áreas específicas e guiar Mongué a um futuro desejado. |
| Abstract: | The municipality of Maxixe despite being characterized mainly by commercial activities has places with tourist potential. The village of Mongué as an integral part of this municipality configures an example of these tourist potentials whose attractiveness is the existing natural and historical-cultural resources that are capable of motivating flows for visitation, however the practice of tourism is almost non-existent. Given this and the fact that the tourist offer is an important factor in tourism development, this research aimed to diagnose the current panorama of the tourist offer in Mongué in order to highlight its conditions and how they can impact the development of local tourism. To this end, a bibliographical research was first carried out in order to have theoretical bases for the construction of the theoretical framework and for the development of instruments for the field. the identification of local areas for the study. In view of this, the application of interviews to the public sector, the tourist establishment and the local community was followed, reconciling with the observation technique and, subsequently, the data collected in the bibliographical research and in the field were organized. Then proceeded to the description of the inventoried data of the tourist offer of Mongué and then the discussion. With the results, it was verified that Mongué has resources/attractions with potential to attract tourist flow, but it was noted difficulty in accessing the sacred forests and the fresh water spring, as well as the degradation of the São José de Mongué church (old). It also noted a weakness in some elements of basic infrastructure such as basic sanitation, energy and transport systems, signaling and the service component. Thus, it is concluded that the tourist offer of Mongué needs a restructuring taking into account the existing weaknesses and potential and taking into account the local physical and cultural characteristics in order to ensure the well-being of both residents and visitors. And this restructuring must be combined with the elaboration of a tourism development plan that will serve as a basis for directing efforts to specific areas and guiding Mongué towards a desired future.(TRADUÇÃO NOSSA) |
