Importância da protecção e conservação do património cultural para o desenvolvimento do turismo no Município de Inhambane

Abstract

Cultural heritage represents the history, beliefs, manifestations, life of a people. In this sense, this research focuses on the importance of the Protection and Conservation of Cultural Heritage for the Development of Tourism in the Municipality of Inhambane. This study consisted of a way to value and protect the heritage, so that it is protected in order to mitigate the impacts that may arise over time, and was also a way to raise awareness about the sustainable use of this heritage so that it can remain for a long time. , disseminating and promoting cultural tourism as well as to let future generations know their true origins. It is a matter of study to understand the importance of the protection and conservation of cultural heritage for the development of tourism in MI, through the identification of different types of heritage, as well as the policies used for its protection, relating heritage and tourism, and demonstrate the importance between them. And for the materialization of these objectives, it was only possible to achieve them through interviews directed to the institutions that are responsible for the protection of cultural heritage where we interacted with the technicians representing them, with a view to collecting data that served to draw conclusions on the subject, carrying out new proposals for policies and measures for the protection of heritage. In response to the research, it is concluded that the protection and conservation of cultural heritage is important, as it presents historical meanings that represent the life of a particular community and the attraction it provides for tourists seeking to know its legacy historical, and it was possible to perceive that the entities that protect the heritage have created mechanisms to protect and conserve the heritage, reconciling this with tourist activities.(TRADUÇÃO NOSSA)
